Key Account Executive

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Press, Sr. and is today a leading freight forwarder in the field of turnkey projects, heavy lift and special transports on both a national and an international level. The deugro group specializes in several independently operating service areas to ensure the successful handling of the operative business for the deugro group. All supporting functions such as Controlling, Finance, Human Resources, Business Processes and IT, Consolidation, Marketing, and QHSES are consolidated in one entity.

Become a part of our international Key Account Management team at one of our locations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime (40h/week) as Key Account Executive.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Understands and has full knowledge of international freight forwarding including local pick-up or inland transportation, booking, document preparation, port handling, ocean and air transportation, customs clearance and delivery.
• Calculates rates and price conversions.
• Converts and verifies shipment weight and volume.
• Uses rate charts to convert foreign currency to U.S. Dollars and vice-versa.
• Communicates by e-mail, telephone and fax with foreign operations and local customers.
• Possess excellent time management skills and manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight timelines
• Customer service responsibilities include maintaining communication with vendor, shipper, customer, carrier and deugro overseas offices throughout the process and choosing proper routing appropriate to the customer’s needs.
• Preparing quotations to clients, overseas offices and international agents for air, ocean, export, import, and overland transport as best suited for the cargo.
• Keep all rate and service contracts, port tariffs etc. on file in an organized manner.
• Keep quote log and follow up with quotes.
• Responsible for reports as needed and requested by management.

 

What you can contribute:

• Management of Day to Day quotation & technical requests for Key Accounts.
• Minimum 4 year experience in a related position having sound knowledge in pricing for FCL & Air Freight.
• The ability to build rapport with key client as well as handle multiple accounts.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• These qualities characterize you: analytical, results-driven, assertiveness, the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communications skills in English (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)
