Job Title: Tax Professional – Assistant Manager

Position Summary:

The MEA/CIS tax team of LG Electronics is seeking an internal tax consultant who can support tax matters of subsidiaries in the MEA/CIS region.

Our team as MEA/CIS region’s internal tax consultants aims to optimize the business from a tax point of view and minimize tax risks. This role is ideal for you who want to grow with us as a tax expert.

The mission of the team is to:

•Keep compliance with tax law,

•Minimize tax risks, and

•Make internal tax policy in business point of view

This position is mainly responsible for leading the tax function in the Middle East, Africa, and CIS (Russia, Kazakhstan, etc.) regions of LG Electronics.

Principal Responsibilities:

•Reviewing tax filing (CIT, VAT, and Transfer Pricing) and validation

•Providing support in tax inspections

•Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders from a tax perspective

•Reporting to HQ on tax issues

•Communication with subsidiary CFOs and key tax team members (preferably in English)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

•Bachelor’s degree preferably in business management (preferable in taxation Major).

•3 ~ 5 years of relevant Tax experience

•No restrictions to travel overseas in the Middle East, Africa, and CIS countries

•Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)

•Preferred to be bi-lingual with native/fluent in Arabic or Russian language

•Preferred to have a good understanding of ERP system

•Excellent interpersonal & communication skills are required for coordinating with local employees & traveling to the Middle East, Africa, and CIS countries

•Strategic & critical thinking.

•Planning and organizational skills.
