Robert Walters is working with a multinational looking to hire a Senior Accountant into their growing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly and annual reports.
- Evaluate ad review monthly financial statements, results of operations, income statements and financial records.
- Involved in handling the forecast and budgets
- Must have experience with fixed asset capitalization
- Must be involved in the preparation and execution of annual physical inventory count
- Involved in operating monthly and yearly closing activities
- Lead and facilitate the execution of new IT initiatives in SAP and other interfaces
- Responsible for payroll posting and payment process entries and accruals in SAP
Key requirements:
- Bachelors in Finance or Accounting with accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Preferably at least 3 years of experience within a multinational or complex business within the Oil & Gas of Heavy Industry
- Technical competency with SAP
