Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our Banking & Financial Products Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from launch onwards, with a specific emphasis on consumer onboarding, preparing product-process flows, and establishing standard operating procedures.
This role requires a blend of, banking and financial services, business acumen, technical knowledge, and robust project management skills. The candidate should also have a deep understanding of mortgage loans, equity release, and investment structured products.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the ideation, development, and launch of innovative Financial products, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service, to define product specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.
3. Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding processes for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and maximizing customer satisfaction.
4. Design and establish product-process flows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
5. Oversee all aspects of product launch, including stakeholder coordination, marketing strategy development, and execution of launch plans.
6. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
7. Manage the product backlog, prioritizing tasks based on business needs and resource availability.
8. Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and tools for the product.
9. Monitor product performance and usage to deliver on financial goals and customer satisfaction metrics.
10. Gather and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape the product’s future direction.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field. MBA Finance, or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in product management, preferably within the Banking & Finance industry.
3. Proven track record of managing all aspects of successful FinTech products throughout their lifecycle.
4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, mortgage loans, equity release, investment structured products, and market trends.
5. Demonstrable experience in establishing product-process flows and SOPs.
6. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
7. Exceptional project management and communication skills.
8. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
9. Experience with product management software and tools.
10. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Certified Product Owner or similar certification is a plus.
