About the job

  • Handle entire cost accounting role and develop Departmentwide profitability reports, generation of income statements and reconciliation with the financial reports.
  • Active involvement in the budget preparation.
  • Able to generate budget vs actual costing reports, invoice-wise profitability reports.
  • Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts and support to the Finance manager in closing the months within the strict deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of big 4 audit requirements and compliance in time.
  • Develop various business models and scenario planning.
  • Good knowledge of cash flow and working capital cycles.
  • Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries.
  • Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
  • Supporting Finance Manager in ensuring that inter company cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy.
  • Expert experience in the day to day finance and accounts operations.
  • Consultative with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • CA/ICAEW/ CPA preferred.
  • Min 3-10 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting particularly in Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in audit and costing is mandatory. Preference will be given to Big 4 experience holders.
  • Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
  • Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
  • Able to work independently and highly meticulous. Some ready to stay back and complete the work.
  • Working experience in Navision/ business Central is highly regarded.
