About the job
Our client is a well-established family office based in Dubai with a strong track record in real estate development and global proprietary investments.
The business focuses on equity markets and fixed income products, structured products and derivatives and VC and PE investments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial activities to optimize investment funds’ margin, cash, liquidity management.
Role Summary
- Finalization of accounts to manage daily accounting activities and ensure that all bank and customer statements are reconciled.
- Prepare cashflow reports and analysis.
- Coordinate with banks, wealth and fund managers to execute timely fund transactions and maximize investment opportunities.
- Prepare financial dashboards and metrics; prepare financial reports and analysis.
- Prepare investment returns analysis reports and make recommendations on alternative investment options based on maturity profiling, interest and exchange rates and stock market trends.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 7+ years in investment portfolio finance and
- Deep knowledge of financing markets and investment portfolio finance – market instruments such as bonds, derivatives, structured products, money market instruments, margins, funding, fixed income, equity and FX across all underlying products and security types.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen and data analysis skills to track and analyze investment portfolios; ability to synthesize large amounts of data, calculate metrics and create reports for further analysis.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Chartered Accountancy or Chartered Financial Analysis
Candidate Profile
- Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to live and work in Dubai.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
