Job purpose:
The Financial Reporting Specialist will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting. The role will assist in evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, eventually guiding the cost analysis to enable more effective decision making.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with team members to prepare and review monthly accounts before finalization and provide commentary on performance.
- Detailed financial analysis of each ledger highlighting variances with reasons to add value to the business and decision making.
- Maintain detailed reconciliation of all ledgers.
- Ensure all accruals and prepayments are accurately posted in ERP
- Help drive actions to improve the financial performance of the business.
- Assist in annual budgets, monthly forecasting, highlighting any savings or budget overruns.
Must have qualification:
ICAI / ACCA / ICAP
