Requirements:
- Responsible for accurate and timely closure of books in accordance with IFRS on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Supervision and control of all accruals, prepaid expenses and GL balances to ensure smooth closure.
- Preparation of IFRS 16 workings and review with FM.
- Review of monthly Trial Balance along with FM.
- Supervision of Fixed Asset capitalization, asset tagging, schedule preparation and reconciliation with GL
- Consolidates Finance Assurance Reports with inputs from team members.
- Provides active support and ensures that vendor payment are done before due date, collections are recovered as per agreed terms and reconciliations are done as per internal SOP.
- Processes divisional payroll in coordination with HR, updates schedules and pass associated provisions
- Prepare VAT return working matching books and coordinates with consultant for their review and resolve queries.
- Collates cash flow information and consolidation
- Supports FM in Treasury function
- Tracks and ensure rent payments before due date
- Provides information to auditors, prepares draft financial reports for auditors review and finalizes the queries with auditors independently.
- Lead discussions with divisional finance team and resolve their queries.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Candidate must have experience from hospitality background (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field of study.
- Preferred candidate will be who is qualified Chartered Accountant
- Minimum of 7-8 years’ of experience working in Accounting
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Tally Software (People Soft)
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to take initiative and work independently with guidance, but limited supervision.
