a very exciting product and a great team behind it. Our finance team in Dubai are looking for a Payroll Accountant to join the growing team. This new role will require the ideal candidate to have knowledge of financial processes along with the UAE’s labor laws. The ideal candidate will be handling most matters related to employee relations within the finance team.
Responsibilities:
– Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
– Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll amendments including new hires, terminations (EoS), and changes to pay rates.
– Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
– Ensure compliance with local regulations (WPS), and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
– Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
– Identify and recommend updates to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
– Calculate Sales Commissions and ensure accurate and timely processing of it while making sure the commission scheme is aligned with Company strategy.
– Prepare and share End of Settlement for all departing employees.
– Calculate and maintain gratuity for all employees
Must Have :
- Related Bachelor Degree or Higher
- 2 – 4 years of experience
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge in using MS Excel and any ERP
- Proven experience of managing payroll
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws
- UAE VAT experience
- Strong communication skills
