A well-known and well-reputed Company based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced, skilled, competent, mature, qualified, creative, and intelligent candidate with significant knowledge and relevant working experience for the position of  “Financial Accountant”.

Job brief:

We are looking for an organized, diligent, and responsible Food & Beverage Accountant with arabic Cuisine Restaurants experience to join our growing team. In this position, you will manage accounts payable; validate POS sales , wastage, transfer, food costing.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for fixed assets register maintenance and inventory
• Manage accounts payable; validate invoice in the system and monitor payments as per agreed terms.
• Control, maintain and check revenue and expenses.
• Post accruals & prepayments in the system.
• Control and hold responsible for inventory, stock adjustment / Stock transfer
• Deal with external auditor for year-end audit report.
• Daily sales reconciliation (Credit card & Cash Sales)
• Daily reconciliation to delivery companies
• Bank reconciliation
• Other duties that may be assigned by the Chief Financial Officer
• Monitoring food cost, wastage and Recipe costing.

Requirements:

• At least 3 – 4 years’ experience as an accountant (UAE experience preferred) with strong experience in the Food and Beverage Restaurant ( Arabic Cuisine)
• Advanced degree in accounting
• Knowledgeable of UAE Tax Law, accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
• Excellent user of any accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
• This position is for those with F & B ( restaurant ) accounting background.
• Review & approve purchase orders
• Review supplier invoices & issues supplier payment
• Have good knowledge about food costing ( Recipe & menu costing ).
