We are looking for a qualified sales manager to drive success with their own expertise and the leadership of a motivated sales team. The ideal sales manager has extensive understanding and expertise of the sales process and excels at lead generation, connection development, and deal closing. We’re looking for a quick-study with good negotiation abilities, someone with a track record of achievement who can motivate others to do the same. The position requires a leader with a keen intellect and the capacity to train, advise, encourage, or replace sales reps in order to construct and sustain a high-performing team.
Objectives of this role
- Represent our organization with a thorough knowledge of our solutions
- Research customer requirements and determine how our products satisfy them
- Recruit, instruct, inspire, and counsel a team of sales agents
- Accomplish corporate objectives by strategically planning, establishing sales objectives, reviewing performance data, and predicting future performance
- Continually strengthen leadership, hiring, and training abilities while ensuring the team employs efficient sales strategies to accomplish set goals
- Cultivate client connections and generate leads
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that grows the client base and broadens the company’s reach.
- Meet with prospective customers and build meaningful connections by comprehending their needs.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on important quantitative parameters and business trends pertaining to partners and clients.
- Recruit sales personnel, establish goals, train and coach, and monitor performance to guarantee the completion of given duties and responsibilities.
- Determine the team’s knowledge deficiencies and devise a strategy to fill them.
- Ensure that corporate targets and standards are reached by conducting daily check-ins with the sales team to establish objectives and track progress.
- Oversee month-end and annual closing procedures.
Required skills and qualifications
- At least seven years of experience managing corporate sales
- Proven track record of accomplishment throughout the full sales cycle, from planning to closure
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Exemplary leadership skill
- Capability and willingness to travel a minimum of 30% of the time
