If you enjoy being BOLD, PASSIONATE and TOGETHER, then Majid Al Futtaim is the destination for you.Role PurposeThe business analyst role is to analyze the data collected by different sources in the process and provide simple, meaningful visuals that helps managers and leaders to be proactive in making the decision to achieve seamless operational flow.Role Details – Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to drive business decisions
  • Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data
  • Leading the development of all weekly and monthly standard reports including continuous innovation and improving the use and ease of interpretation of reports and analysis
  • Working with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely
  • Collaborate across divisions for any project request from other stakeholders
  • Create requirements and specifications for business solutions
  • Conduct business analysis and research to identify key metrics and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop processes and procedures to ensure business solutions meet strategic goals
  • Ensure business processes are running in accordance with supply chain methodologies
  • Consult with key stakeholders to determine business objectives and success factors
  • Collaborate with team members to collect, analyze, and evaluate information from multiple sources including
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Write and document business requirements, functional requirements, and design specifications
  • Work with information technology professionals to develop a solution that meets business requirements
  • Continuously improve existing business processes and strive to develop new ones to improve efficiency
  • Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
  • Perform quality assurance
  • Define reporting and alerting requirements

Human Capital Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation of the performance management process by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and provide constructive feedback and provide inputs to senior management
  • Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
  • Provide inputs on training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements
  • Develop and implement on the job-training for the team
  • Provide inputs for the development of annual manpower plan
  • Ensure the implementation of MAF Retail’s corporate policies and relevant procedures

Financial Responsibilities

  • Ensure alignment of procedures in accordance with the Delegation of Authority (DOA)
  • Assist in monitoring allocated budget to ensure compliance and highlight possible issues
  • Provide inputs on the preparation of budget when necessary
  • Provide inputs on cost reduction measures

Minimum Qualifications/educationPersonal Characteristics and Required Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant to the role
  • Master’s Degree in in Business Administration is preferred

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum 6 years in the related managerial function
  • Preferably 2+ years in the retail business or closely related industry
