Job Purpose:
- Issues quotations for non-covered jobs
- Issues end of month invoices
- Receives invoices from vendors/contractors and process them for payment
- Responsible for daily operational accounting entries, purchasing, and accounts payable/receivable
- General oversight of accounting policies and procedures
- Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
- Controlling the payroll and reconciling bank statements
- Preparing accurate month-end account with comparison to forecast
- Preparing profit and loss account and the balance sheet for management
- Assist in preparing budgets and business planning including project revenue
- Ensuring legislation is followed regarding VAT
- Spot check on engineering stores
- Monitor expenses comparing to budget on daily bases

- Comply with reasonable OSH instructions and safe working procedures;
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems;
- Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures;
- Not will fully or recklessly endanger anyone’s health and safety;
- Assist with preparation of risk assessments;
- Report OSH hazards, incidents and issues
- Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.

- Follow Hazardous Material Management Program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals, fertilizer, pesticides, blood borne pathogens, etc., including using Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
- Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel.
- Complete appropriate safety training and certifications to perform work tasks.
- Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).
- Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.

Minimum Requirement (Education / Knowledge, Skills and Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in accounting/finance
- Experience with financial reporting requirements
- Knowledge in Accounting/Finance software system which includes general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, project accounting, fixed assets, billing, budgeting, etc
- A good grasp of the various accounting rules and treatments, tax and regulatory issues, the ability to work with numbers and a good understanding of how to use accounting software
