We are an experienced Chartered Accountants in Dubai, looking for a competent Audit Partner to handle and manage our company division in the UAE. The role will entail aid overall leadership responsibility for developing and implementing strategy, policy setting, and financial performance for the business, mainly you will help to ensure the business function operates effectively and achieves the planned growth path.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To use professional skills and experience to make it happen handling complex audit procedures across a broad range of industries and responsibilities participate in business development initiatives. Highly required to have proficient knowledge of IFRS/ IAS (Internal Auditing Standards) and sufficient knowledge about VAT/ ESR/AML/UBU.
- To liaise with client’s accounts, inspects account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures, organizes and maintains financial records.
- To plan, conduct, and manage Audit and Risk Assurance engagements following the relevant accounting, auditing standards, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties, including overseas client personnel and audit teams.
- To handle a variety of audits independently, supervise a team of auditors, attend inquiries, meeting with the client, and submit MIS report to the Management on time.
- To have practical knowledge in all the tax-related matters like compliance, registration, de-registration, clarification, reconsideration, tax disputes and examine financial statements to be sure that they are accurate and comply with laws and regulations, computes taxes owed, prepares tax returns, and ensures that taxes are paid properly and on time.
- To review the files, assess financial operations, and makes best-practices recommendations to management, suggests ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits.
- To be able to identify and record audit errors, discusses relevant audit issues with personnel at clients’ premises, and assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees.
Qualifications:
- Indian CA qualified with 5-10 years’ UAE experience in an audit organization handling and executing audits
- 40 years and above
- UAE driver’s license
Education:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration/ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and
CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional
Required Skill Set
- Knowledge of IFRS, risk-based auditing, and paperless audit methodology
- Proficiency in MS Office (Very good knowledge of Excel)
- Good communication skills (written and oral)
