A well-known and well-reputed Company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced, skilled, competent, mature, qualified, creative, and intelligent candidate with significant knowledge and relevant working experience for the position of  “Senior Accountant”.

Daytona Properties is looking for a senior accountant to join the growing team immediately. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. He/She will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management
• Prepare trial balances
• Process standard and complex bookkeeping entries
• Prepare financial data analysis
• Monitor compliance of various agreements with clients, including the Service Level Agreement
• Act as a liaison with various internal /external parties – auditors
• Assist in house audit procedures
• Process wire transfer payments
• Liaise with property management and Agents to understand the accounting standards are followed
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
• Preparation of monthly financial information in accordance with deadlines and requirements
• Forecasting cash flow

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ of professional accounting experience
• Minimum 3 years of Oracle software experience is preferred
• Knowledge of property management software like Yardi is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CPA/CA preferred
