OPENING FOR WAREHOUSE MANAGER IN DUBAI, UAE
We are looking for a candidate for the position of Warehouse Manager to join our factory in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. No of Positions: One Date of Filling: Immediate Last Date for Receiving the Applications: 15.11.2022
Main Responsibilities
- Determines work procedures and expedites workflow through oral and written instruction.
- Assists department members in creating production documentation to be used for workflow and system monitoring and enhancement.
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of the department.
- Responsible for the over-all Physical Inventory of the raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods and returnable materials.
- Prepares composite reports for management on weekly basis informing the status of transfers, deliveries and scraps inventories.
- Responsible for the FIFO system of the department; ensuring that all transfer and receive materials are properly organize and in-lined to the FIFO protocols.
- Provides direction and oversight to employees in the application of regulations and policies.
- Assigns duties to subordinates and examines work for conformance to policies and procedures.
- Monitor quality of warehousing through audits and reports to insure conformance with company standards.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining all training procedures and documents as they relate to process training.
- Managing the following personnel comprising the whole Warehouse Department: Supervisors, Warehouse controllers and Forklift operators.
- Responsible for appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems within the department.
- Responsible for achieving department’s objective set by the Plant.
- Responsible for proper allocation and arrangement of aluminum scraps and ensures the stacking area is well organized and clean all the time.
- Responsible for controlling stocks and ensuring all materials are regularly being updated in the SAP system.
- Responsible for the highest standard of organization, maintenance, and housekeeping of Warehouse Department.
- Responsible for ensuring the food safety of the product.
- Ensure H&S in Warehouse Department will be followed as per the proper standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of any 4-year course but preferably Engineering major.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Supervisor or Manager in a warehousing firm.
- Experience in an extensive work on warehouse management is an advantage.
- Has background on Technical training, SAP training, World Class Manufacturing, Iso and HACCP.
- Having good supervisory and managerial skills, analytical skills, Interpersonal skills, ability to deligate tasks, manage conflict and motivate employees, Team player Skills
- Intermediate or above level of English Communication
