Purpose: To act as a trusted advisor to Senior Line Management on all HR and administrative issues matters; to ensure a keen understanding of the business so as to implement HR strategies and practices that support robust business growth; reinforce a culture of performance focus, meritocracy and diversity; and comply with Group HR policy.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • In liaison with the Business COO, GMs, Project Managers, Group MD and Group Senior HRs to develop a HR and administrative strategy for the business/HR.
  • Create and support a continuous improvement environment for HR and administrative activities within the Business Units.
  • Manage the recruitment process to secure competent, qualified employees within the framework of a value-added talent management program by supporting subsidiary management in determining recruitment needs and setting hiring criteria.
  • Formulate and implement performance management plans to improve performance or assist with exit from the organisation.
  • Develop succession plans/retention strategies for key talents and execute a learning and development plan that equips individuals with necessary skills.
  • Ensure compliance with local law related to all Government relation activities and Group policy throughout the employee lifecycle. Communicate and implement changes to HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure disciplinary procedure is properly applied before any employee is excited from the business.
  • Support Business Heads in creating a culture of employee engagement based upon company values. Reinforce at all times a culture of meritocracy, performance-focus and diversity.
  • Focus on measuring the employee engagement of the business units and take actions necessary to improve it.
  • Support and facilitate the implementation of HR systems, tactics, business structure reorganization and consolidation to deliver efficiencies.
  • Provide line management with regular and financial reporting of employee costs.
  • Ensure annual manpower budgeting exercise is conducted accurately and efficiently. Create, obtain approval for and manage HR Department budget. Ensure HR Team adherence to the business financial systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance to administrative task such as Government Relations, PRO activities, License renewals and etc.. are being follow up and completed on time to meet the local law.
  • Ensure all the Staff/ Labour facilities, Transportation are maintained up to satisfaction of employees by liaising with Camp Boss.
  • Ensure that Emiratization focus is maintained, and diversification goals are reinforced and achieved.
  • Ensure adequate, accurate, confidential HR records are maintained across the organization.
  • Perform other duties, as required by the Senior HRs.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • MBA & University degree in HR/Specialty in HR.
  • Experience in ERP – HCM software is advantage
  • Should be familiar with HR Reports.
  • Fluent in English & Arabic (written and verbal)

Minimum Experience:

  • 07 – 10 years in a similar HR management position in leading group of companies.
  • Experience in Contracting / EPC / Marine / Oil & Gas / Manufacturing industries are highly preferred.
