Sales Manager – Corporate

Reports to Senior Manager – Corporate Sales

Job Purpose:

The Sales Manager represents the company to clients (Corporate / Government / Private segments) in a seamless and flawless manner. He or she will do this through outstanding service, sharing Bateel product range and providing solutions as per client’s requirement.

The Sales Manager contributes to the overall success of Corporate division by 1) being fully responsible for the end-to-end process which starts from simple enquiry to relationship management, pricing, contractual agreements, set-up delivering mechanism and ensure timely payments and state-of-art after sales solutions 2) overseeing the planning, coordination, execution and payment collection as daily operations routine 3) client data management.

This Sales Manager works closely with National Sales Manager, Production, Design Team, Logistics.. His or her main focus is to expand loyal Corporate client base and to supply network, revenue and margin in line with, or exceeding the annual business plan, by creating memorable client servicing experiences and loyal customers.

The Sales Manager will have excellent planning and organisation skills, an ability to anticipate customer needs relevant to specific events, leadership qualities and be able to make decisions. An avid communicator able to handle multiple stakeholders and have well developed training skills.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintaining and increasing sales of Bateel company’s products by keeping up with the supply and demand, changing trends, economic and seasonal indicators and competitors.
  • Looking into profit margins and taking prompt action in solving related challenges.
  • Strive to achieve and exceed the sales budget and monitor P&L.
  • Establishing, maintaining and expand customer base.
  • Lead market research activities to identify market trends, competitor analysis and customer insights. Have the ability to infuse market intelligence into overall Sales plan and respond proactively to changing market forces and dynamics at play.
  • Expert skillsets in maintaining sales and market data points (example – monthly sales report, budget analysis, variance analysis etc.)
  • Contribute to sales strategy by providing intelligent, actionable insights on market trends, customer habits, socio-political climate, competitor landscape)
  • Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales
  • Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through planning and management of key accounts.
  • Set guidelines and maintain high standards of service experiences at all times for all clients such as attending requirements of the clients in timely manner and ensure that line managers are groomed to respond effectively. Always respecting the Brand DNA, and assuring over all execution.
  • Persistently assuring high levels of food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards. Thus ensuring compliance with local law, food safety standards, general work place safety, and HACCP policies and procedures.
  • Uses analytical skills and pro-actively manages margins, by controlling COGS, staff and controllable expenses.
  • Monitors customer satisfaction and develops and maintains client relations.
  • Uses critical thinking skills to initiate innovation, conducting research on global food trends, food marketing, and conscious eating habits.
  • Being involved in improving communication using technology.

Experience requirement:

  • 5-8 years’ of B2B , Corporate Sales experience in international environment in the Middle East
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written English

Qualification and Licenses requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Local Driving License
