Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Trade Finance Operations Manager , will perform the following duties/ tasks:
Responsibilities:
- Manage the centralized customer onboarding trade finance operations activities in relation to Invoice financing , in transit Financing and LC.
- Implement objectives, KPI, policies and procedures manual and user manuals for trade finance operations
- Review requirements of business units in terms of operational support and discuss in detail with concerned business units.
- Review department delivery processes with a view to ensure smooth workflow within the department, reduce turnaround times and achieve efficiency and cost benefits.
- In consultation with senior management, influence the development of key new products service initiative in order to identify product gaps or new service opportunities and anticipate client needs.
- Prepare regular reports and analysis for senior management for effective monitoring and control.
- Manage an existing team of 3 trade Finance Executives
Qualifications:
- Relevant working experience in trade finance/commodities/LC negotiations/import-export operations within the finance industries
- Competence in the use of Fintech standard software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and SalesForce (or Other ERP/ CRM)
- Able to work under pressure and capable to solve problems
- Able to manage a team
- Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Meticulous and possess a positive working attitude
