Logistics Coordinator | Al Nahiya Group

A well-known and well-reputed Company based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced, skilled, competent, mature, qualified, creative, and intelligent candidate with significant knowledge and relevant working experience for the position of  “Logistics Coordinator”.

Job Purpose

to co-ordinate traffic activities for general procurement/non project materials

Principal Accountabilities

• Arrange and coordinate sea, air and land freight
• Primary contact of vendors for shipping related matters and coordinate with expeditors to obtain necessary documents for forwarding
• Review / approve draft shipping documents provided by vendor or freight forwarder and follow up receipt of originals prior shipment arrival to ensure well-timed custom clearance
• Monitor material movement by following up with shipping agents and freight forwarder in order to keep end user informed with shipment status on regular basis.
• Liaise with freight forwarder and customs authorities for timely cargo clearance and transportation from UAE ports.
• Maintain constant communication with stores / receiving section for smooth delivery
• Verification of invoices for payment of customs clearance agents, freight forwarding and keep proper recording of transportation cost
• Secure Bank Guarantee, as duty deposit, through Finance Section for materials imported on temporary basis

Requirements

knowledge Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree In Business Administration or related field
• 5 years’ experience in Traffic
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Communication skills
• Computer literate
