We are looking for a professional with at least 5 years of experience in project management and procurement; preferably someone who has worked in a procurement function in a large organization. The role holder should have extensive knowledge and experience in transforming procurement functions from a process, system and reporting perspective.
The successful candidate should have experience in implementing end-to-end procurement processes improvements, designing and rolling-out procurement governance model, systems and communication plan to engage with key stakeholders.-
Scope of Work
- Support and project manage the procurement Transformations journey of COMPANY covering process, system, metrics & reporting, and stakeholder engagement dimensions.
- Understand the maturity of the procurement function and focus on the areas needing immediate improvement.
- Continuously monitor and measure the progress of projects
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships to ease the challenge of implementations.
- Develop the strategic procurement vision by enhancing the current procurement processes, procedures.
- Take ownership of issues/ problems and manage until resolution
- Enhance the knowledge and skills of the procurement function
- Support in building and improving a vendor management programme
- Support the Category managers in building a structured sourcing strategy as per the4 roadmap and approach to achieve savings
- Enhance the use of digital procurement tools and investigate other systems to support the procurement team in terms of data analytics, contracts management and sourcing activities.
- Deliver supply chain process improvements as per the transformation plan.
- Review compliance and governance requirements and work with the team to increase adherence
- Target capabilities that will deliver the greatest value
- Support and enable Procurement and Finance teams to work together to achieve quicks and benefits
- Analyze post-implementation results, KPIs, Workflow process
- Develop essential capabilities that differentiate between a sustained transformation that show long -term results rather than short-term solutions
- Document and monitor success factors across the Procurement transformation project.
- Develop a change management plan, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships to ease the challenge of implementations.
