We are searching for exceptional Senior Accountant & Admin for an immediate opening in our Dubai, UAE studio, to serve our diverse client base in urban, retail, healthcare and hospitality projects. Our clients range from leading architectural and interior firms to real estate developers. Desired Experience: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting management ideally within the architectural or consulting fields. MS Office and QuickBooks experience is necessary. Further the candidate must manage basic office admin and human resource duties. General duties include:
- Detailed knowledge of Work in Progress Accounting and coordinate with projects team on the same.
- Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secure financial information by completing database backups.
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
- Comply with local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Prepare books in preparation for audits and manage the audits process with a 3rd party auditor.
- Prepare invoices, statement and consistent professional collection methods with clients.
- Prepare salaries and payroll through the WPS systems.
- Prepare and manage local tax payments.
- Coordinate with company PRO for processing/cancelling of all company visas
- Coordinate basic Human Resource issues.
- Manage Company Cleaning Person for office maintenance
