Principal Functions:

Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Business Development, the Senior Specialist – Projects will be responsible for working closely with the Head to provide assistance and support during the development, update and implementation of strategy. In addition, the Senior Specialist – Projects will be responsible for supporting the SBD Head for functions related to external stakeholders and partners as well as for projects and tasks related to Business Continuity Management System. The Senior Specialist – Projects may also be partially responsible for other special strategic projects as directed by business needs.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Develop detailed plans related to all projects in SBD and as directed by SBD Head.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, measure, and report all details related to initiatives/projects, performance indicators, and risks including but not limited to the definition, progress and reporting.
  • Maintain and regularly update all information and necessary documentation related to strategy.
  • Measure, track, and report projects and performance indicators and their adherence to budget and timelines across the various stages.
  • Identify issues, risks, and opportunities and take proactive measures to communicate and resolve or to devise appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Liaise with appropriate strategy owners and champions to ensure action items are executed in a timely fashion, and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to systems and internal processes and highlight any non-compliance to the SBD Head.
  • Interact with internal / external stakeholders as and when required for fulfilling the requirements of the all related tasks and projects.
  • Assemble, analyze and interpret in timely and accurate manner intelligence information received from internal and external stakeholders on specified topics.
  • Assess the reliability, validity and relevance of information received from/on ECAE internally and externally.
  • Analyze the strategic partnership and maintain an updated and effective list and propose improvements.
  • Support the implementation of effective enforcement of the Business Continuity Management System as per the plan and as directed by SBD Head.
  • Any other duties as directed by the SBD Head

Formal Education Required:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or any other related field.

Years & Field of Experience required:

Essential

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategy and performance management and/or project management with proven track record of successful project implementation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent multitasking, time management and organization skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • A motivated self-starter; able to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Deadline driven and detail oriented, with excellent follow through.
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with great interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
