We are looking for a seasoned, all-rounded finance manager to spear-head our finance department and to communicate with respective accounts on behalf of our firm.
The ideal candidate will be fully versed in accounting principles, able to work comfortably with numbers with attention to detail, be reliable, diligent, organized, flexible, able to work autonomously, possess proficient ability to work with MS office (esp. Excel) and be able to manage team and corporate’s stakeholders.
The candidate will be required to take on a major responsibility and substantial work load.
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Manage finance department with the responsibilities for payroll, accounts payables/account receivables and submission of payments
- Access several online travel agency platforms to retrieve, consolidate and process data necessary for accounting and reporting purposes
- Prepare monthly reports for multiple stakeholders and manage communication with them
- Prepare submit quarterly VAT returns
- Process accounting postings – invoices, payments, credit card transactions, debit/credit notes, fixed assets register, accruals, banking, reconciliations
- Summarize current financial transactions by gathering information, preparing balance sheet, and loss statement, other reports and KPIs
- Resolve questions related to monthly performance reporting directly with respective accounts
- Undertake any other specific duties assigned by the management
- Supervise 2 junior accountants
- Work directly with the CEO and the Head of Operations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in independently handling company’s accounting and related finance work with complete responsibility for the corporate’s finances under minimum supervision
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Well organized, careful and patient, with high attention to detail
- Proficient with all MS Office, ability to maintain the accuracy of Excel spreadsheets, comfortable with pivot tables
- Knowledge of Xero system or similar accounting system
SALARY:
9,000-10,000 AED/month + discretionary monthly performance bonus up to 30% of salary.
