The client – a leading investment management firm based in Abu Dhabi, UAE – is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team
Position reports to the Head of department.
The role of Senior Internal Auditor is to provide support with development,
execution and reporting of annual risk based internal audit plan, reporting and
communication of audit results and monitoring of post-audit implementation of
management action plans by the process owners.
Senior Internal Auditor is also responsible for documenting of audit activities, in
accordance with Internal Audit Methodology and relevant standards,
supporting the line manager with day-to-day administrative tasks and
highlighting to the Head of Internal Audit any observations in relation to corporate
governance, risk and compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s` degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or a related discipline
- Relevant professional certification (e.g. CIA, ACCA, CA, CPA, CFE) or final
- candidate for a professional certification
Relevant Experience:
- 6+ years’ experience in internal audit with professional service providers (i.e. Big 4 or top firms), or with top financial institutions 4 (must have)
- Prior experience with investment managers, funds’ managers, financial
- institutions (i.e. banks, brokerage companies). (must have)
- Understanding of capital markets, fixed income products and private
- equity. (must have)
- 3+ years’ of independent execution of internal audit activities and internal
- audit teams oversight (must have)
- 3+ years’ of independent report writing (must have)

Package on offer Package: Up to US$ 100,000 pa + bonus (discretionary) + medical insurance.
