Primary Duties
The Finance Operations Controller in Richemont Dubai is part of the Richemont Finance Department, supporting Richemont Brands in their internal operations, in a fast-growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish Finance Operations as a true business partner for the Brands in your scope:
- Be the key contact of the Brands for all matters related to compliance and control over daily operations in the Boutiques and the Brands operations
- Assess the level of Boutiques on processes and procedures awareness, and establish together with Brand’s recurrent training plans to increase the quality of retail operations
- Spread system and process knowledge on retail flows constantly by being the first level of local support to the Brands and their boutiques
- Contribute to new boutique openings by providing necessary documents, policies & procedures, and tools prior to the opening
- Be the point of contact on behalf of Richemont for the Brands regarding any boutique closure and/or major event support.
- Manages submission of boutique annual sales report to respective mall management, if applicable
- Finance Operations & Internal Control
- Perform Internal Control review of internal boutiques for the brands in your scope
- Process and compliance audit
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the regional Boutique Audit methodology and ensure its correct execution in the UAE and other countries.
- Follow up on action plans, and provide support
- Perform surprise audit
- Assist in maintain the retail compliance and control over daily operations in the Boutiques
- Retail business flows
- Respect of Brand commercial policies
- Coordinate control over inventory completeness and valuation
- Perform yearly stock-takes
- Perform bi-annual consignment and gift tracker confirmations
- Follow up brand cycle-counts
- Perform ICS testing
- Promote control awareness among Finance and Retail staff, and contribute to regional efforts towards a continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and systems
- Review the relationship with the local credit card acquirer and ensures compliance with Group credit card acquisition contracts and policies
- Business analysis & reporting
- Prepare boutiques and brands sales analysis
- Prepare Retail Key Performances indicators
- Prepare ad hoc reports as per brands’ requests (client mix, VAT refunds…)
- Finance Projects Management
- Coordinate projects with each head of the Finance department, whether transversal or functional, for business development or operational efficiency in which there is a financial component/stream.
- Be the point of contact for all Finance projects including but not limited to:
- Internalizations and new boutiques
- E-commerce and remote sales
- Gemini preparation
- New brand entries
- Internal/external Audit coordination support
- Process improvements
- Help in monitoring key business development projects which involve Finance Operations

Target Profile
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance / Business
Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar field
- Auditing background with a strong emphasis on internal control
- Retail experience is a plus
- Technical skills/abilities
- Strong analytical skills, process-oriented; able to analyze, dissect and optimize business processes
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP/accounting system
- Project management skills is a plus
