Position: Assistant Social Media Marketing Manager

Work week: Sunday to Friday (Saturday Off)

Timing: 11am to 7pm

Salary: 10k

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING – ASSISTANT MANAGER

As a social media and marketing assistant manager, you’ll manage our online presence by developing a strategy, producing good content, analysing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns. Your portfolio will include up 10 accounts.

You will also have to actively manage a team of 4, and grow the team efficiently.

You’ll need to:

  • Develop creative and engaging social media strategies
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, youtube and Google My Business, adapting content to suit different channels
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Facebook Studio or Sked, including Instastory creation and reposts
  • Engage with our customers via messenger tools
  • Create engaging multimedia content, organize, direct and oversee photoshoots and video shoots
  • Write captions in accordance to client guidelines and tone of voice, storytelling is key for this position
  • Hashtag research to include in first comment
  • Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote your accounts
  • Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
  • Undertake audience research
  • Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
  • Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram and Sked insights
  • Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
  • Recommend improvements to increase performance
  • Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
  • Manage a budget for social media activities
  • Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within the client company and organisation
  • Regularly liaise with founders via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face
