MAIN PURPOSE
- The senior accountant is responsible for analyzing financial transactions and presenting meaningful information about the company’s performance to the Finance management.
- Oversee the consolidation of the Group reporting package and ensure compliance with internal accounting and reporting processes and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the respective persons assigned to deliver specific actions or reports to ensure completeness of data reported on time.
- Prepare required internal and external reporting requirements such as but not limited to Statutory Financial reporting, Economic Substance reporting, Sales reporting to Brands and Landlords
- Ensure that the company complies with its outside regulatory and legal requirements by ensuring adherence to Group and Local internal controls and procedures
- Author or propose necessary controls to mitigate any risks identified
- Lead or contribute to process improvements and efficiency opportunities
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Ensure all monthly financial related reports are reported accurately and promptly in coordination with the Reporting & Accounting Manager (BCS & MR)
- Ensure accuracy of the reporting package and investigate errors in the monthly BCS submission
- Coordinate with the relevant teams for the closing requirements
- Ensure the maintenance of the financial closing agenda in line with ICS and Group requirements
- Ensure proper communication of the reporting deadline to the relevant stakeholders
- Maintain reporting process documentation of flows and transactions
- Gather, analyze and present summarized accounting information
- Create and provide detailed reports for upper management
Other Functions
- Ensure maintenance and completeness of local policies and procedures
- Request SAP user access
- Support the Reporting & Accounting Manager to bring in automation of processes
- Lead and support projects as deemed necessary, in coordination with the Reporting & Accounting Manager
- Other relevant ad hoc tasks
Audit
- Support the Reporting & Accounting Manager in handling the Financial Audit
- Prepare, coordinate, and manage the submission of audited sales reports to landlords

JOB PROFILE
Education
B.Com/ Finance Graduate, CPA would be an advantage
Experience
At least 7-10 years of experience in the relevant field, exposure to audit and luxury industry would be an advantage
Technical Skills/abilities
- Solid accounting and reporting background
- Knowledge of computerized accounting system – especially SAP
- Knowledge of International Accounting Standards / IFRS
- Good computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, BI would be a plus
