About The Role

Reporting to the AGM Corporate Finance, Global Treasury Centre, the Corporate Finance Manager will have responsibility of supporting AGM Corporate Finance and AGM Structured Finance in carrying corporate financing activities for the Group and Group companies, in compliance with treasury policies and procedures.

Role

The role is division agnostic, meaning that all activities will be performed on behalf of all the Al Futtaim Group entities, on a centralized and global basis

  • Undertake financial modelling, independent business valuations/returns analysis, capital structure assessment and equity research in support of Group projects including business acquisitions and divestments, organic investment opportunities and capital structuring.
  • Capital structuring: assist in preparation, improve when necessary, review and analyse financial models prepared by the Divisions / Group and recommend optimal funding structure (i.e. debt to equity split)
  • Group funding: Assist with analysing funding requirements, implementing documentation
  • Planning and funding strategies: prepare supporting analysis, and fund-sizing for Divisions based on annual budget submissions
  • Support M&A, undertake analysis of valuation and business plans prepared by CDU and businesses for acquisition purposes
  • Work with liquidity management & group finance to support cash and dividend collection from the Divisions / overseas businesses, in compliance with Treasury policies

Minimum Qualifications And Knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Master degree qualified (finance, economics, law). Professional qualifications in Chartered Accounting / CPA or Finance (eg. CFA) or equivalent is a plus.

Minimum Experience

  • 5 years’ experience across a range of corporate finance related disciplines, with specific experience across financial analysis, financial modelling, business valuations, financial due diligence and accounting.

Job-Specific Skills: High proficiency in financial modelling using advanced Excel and VBA . In depth knowledge and understanding of corporate finance principles. Strong technical skills in accounting (understanding financial statements), valuations as well as general business acumen. Working knowledge of research and finance tools, Bloomberg and SAP preferred.
