We are looking for a versatile candidate who has extensive experience in “Sourcing, Negotiations, Market Analysis, Cost Analysis, Expedition and Supplier Contracting and Liaison.”

The ideal candidate will be hands on and up to date with market trends and product mix in furniture and kitchen equipment. He or She should possess constant awareness on Market, Price Fluctuations, Sourcing Internationally and Locally.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the supply chain needs of a company are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Review costs, develop relationships with vendors and suppliers, and offer suggestions for where and how much material and supplies to buy.
  • Participate in Contract Negotiations.
  • Oversee Purchase of Materials and Supplies.
  • Negotiate contract renewals, place bids to obtain the business of new vendors, discuss pricing, and monitor all aspects of the terms of a contract.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials, deciding when to make purchases as needed. Choose how much material to keep on hand and track which supplies are consumed fastest. Place and track orders with vendors and suppliers.
  • Responsible for completing all administrative procedures concerning allocated requests and orders, upon receiving through the system till item/service physically delivered or rendered to the property.
  • Responsible for selecting best price quotations, ensuring best quality for all received orders, upon order allocation confirmation. While ensuring the best delivery schedule based on understanding need and vendors stated period.
  • Queries and clarifies any concerns regarding received purchase requests data, concerning description, units, quantities and specifications, directly with the initiating department personnel.
  • Responsible for verifying and follow up on all pending orders (approved & under approval) through system reports or by reporting any concerns.
  • Performs related duties and any assigned special projects as and when requested

Qualifications

  • Experience in procuring products in local and overseas market with regards to furniture and kitchen equipment
  • Experience with e-commerce sourcing
  • Aware of suppliers in local market
  • Aware of import and export basic requirements
  • Aware of Inco terms and different Freight modes
  • Advance in excel
  • Experience FMC ā€“ Oracle or similar ERP
  • Should be able to work under pressure
  • Maintain inventory and manage PAR level with business trends
  • Confident Personality with good communication skills in verbal and written
