About The Role

Working in a dynamic business development environment, the ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate should be focused and have strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • To generate quality leads that result in sales in a structured monthly, quarterly, semi annual basis.
  • Identify business opportunities.
  • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the branch expand.
  • Maintain existing business.
  • Build good relationships with prospect clients.
  • Skilled in sales pitches.

Competencies

  • Proven sales experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong connections with companies and industries with sales potential.
  • Excellent telephone manner & selling skills.
  • Sound understanding of Insurance industry.
  • Pleasant disposition, good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 – 4 years’ prior industry related business development experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in insurance/brokerage firm is a must.
  • Insurance qualifications CII/ ACII is an added advantage.
  • UAE driving license is must.
