The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues.
Responsibilities
[A] MIS and Performance Review
- Prepare & analyze monthly MIS Report (which include P&L, Cash Flow, Customer / Vendor Ageing, Budget variances among others).
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments, and future revenues.
[B] Controls and Compliance
- VAT Return preparation and filing.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with IFRS
- Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Assist in setting up internal control systems within the organization.
- In charge of the F&A team on a day-to-day basis and able to lead and guide the team
[C] Budgets and Forecast
- Continuous management and support of annual budget and quarterly forecast activities.
- Coordinate and liaise with the sales & technical team for information related to new projects to help build monthly, quarterly & annual revenue forecasts
[D] Payments and Reimbursements
- Manage petty cash transactions.
- Ensure payments are made to suppliers on time.
- Managing Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
[E] Annual Audit
Financial audit preparation and help in coordinating the audit process.
Education & Experience
- 3-5 Years’ experience as a reputed Real Estate / Property Developer in UAE.
- Hands-on experience in SAP Systems ( FI / MM/SD Modules ) would be an added advantage.
- Good communication and presentation/ IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiar with UAE VAT laws
- Graduation / Post Graduation in Finance / Accounting is a must.
- Professional Accounting Qualifications like (ACCA/ CA/ CIMA/ CMA)/ would be an added advantage.
