We are currently looking for PMC Senior Contracts Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi:
Technical knowledge:
- Risk awareness, Quality consciousness, Cost consciousness, Negotiation skills, Decision Making, Analytical Skills, Result Oriented, Proactive approach, Ability to work under pressure;
- Knowledge of technical and commercial disciplines related to oil and gas development Projects, Exposure to EPC environment;
- Knowledge of legal and contractual laws governing Projects;
- Considerable knowledge of contract law, contract management, financial management of projects, project controls, risk management principles, excellent experience reviewing, amending and negotiating insurances and bonds during pre-qualification, bidding and pre-award stage;
- Skills in strategy formulation, negotiation and relationship building;
- Competent in advising on contracts and other legal documents and able to co-ordinate, gather, analyse and understand complex information;
- Able to discuss and present subject matter in an effective, legible and confident manner;
- Must have strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Qualification / Experience (Skills):
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering (i.e Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical, IT, Computer, Software, Electronic, etc.) or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum (5) years in in GCC region.
- Must have at least three (3) years of experience in similar position for international major offshore Oil&Gas or Petrochemical projects
