Company overview:
Vieco Pharmaceuticals is a pharmaceutical factory in JAFZA Dubai for the production of solid (Tablets and Capsules), Liquid (Syrups) and semi-solid (Ointment and Creams) pharmaceutical products.
Job Functions:
Responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities including shipping, receiving and dispensing of raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the entire Warehouse activities
- Maintains stock levels as required
- Ensures the quality of stored material from any damage or harm
- Monitors the environmental conditions in the warehouses
- Ensures accuracy of receptions and shipments, and supporting documentation
- Follows FEFO/FIFO rules in storage
- Fills work orders from production
- Ensures inventory transactions are accurately logged and oversees cycle counts and reconciliation activities
- Develops and maintains departmental work instructions and procedures for all tasks
- Recommends measures to improve quality of service, and increase efficiency of department and work crew
- Ensures that health, hygiene and safety guidelines are followed
- Supervises and motivates his team of workers
- Reviews the performance of subordinates and identifies training needs
Job requirements:
- Degree in supply chain management/business information systems/business management/economics or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Warehousing and Storekeeping management either in pharmaceutical industry or food and beverage industry.
- Knowledge in Inventory Management Systems (FEFO/FIFO)
- Knowledge and experience in ERP systems (SAP)
- Broad knowledge in Inventory Management Systems
- Excellent skills in Time Management, Planning and Organization
- Demonstrated ability in Situational Analysis and Communication
