Role Summary:
The HR Business Partner acts as an internal consultant to provide and enable HR support to the business. In addition, the HRBP will formulate partnerships across all levels to deliver value added services that reflects on the organizational strategy and culture. The role is responsible on providing general HR expertise to different stakeholders within the organization and be the active link to maintain strong stakeholder relationship management and to attain a better dynamic environment across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Manager – Talent Development and Management in developing and maintaining the process and procedures.
- Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with different HR functions/team members to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Identify and implement positive employee relations programs, in consultation with the Senior Manager – Talent Development and Management, that will lead to a more efficient and productive workforce.
- Promotes open communication with employees to be able to gather information on employee outlook on work environment and factors affecting morale, motivation and efficiency.
- Evaluate and resolve work-related issues and coordinate with the Senior Manager – Talent Development and Management in determining appropriate action.
- Respond to employee relation enquiries.
- Lead the design of employee engagement plan ensuring clear linkage to strategic initiatives and outcomes.
- Drive the implementation of the employee engagement plan and activities.
- Support in developing and reviewing the reward scheme and plan in alignment with the overall reward strategy and plan and the other talent activities such as performance management and employee engagement.
- Facilitate employees’ recognition and reward in alignment with the organization’s reward scheme.
- Assist in the implementation of Emiratization strategy and action plans
- Plan and conduct regular follow ups/visits to the department to monitor the performance of Emirati Graduate Trainees and levels of support offered to UAE national employees.
- Promote the culture of performance and continuous feedback and coaching in all business units.
- Manage the execution of performance management process for all employees
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management; such as counselling, career development, disciplinary actions.
- Conduct probationary reviews on the third and the sixth month of employment.
- Liaise with the Line Managers in regards to the confirmation of the employees and issue the Confirmation Letters accordingly.
- Respond to performance management related enquiries
- Conduct new employee’s orientation and on boarding process.
- Provide general information to employees regarding DMCC’s policies, practices, and procedures.
- Administer exit formalities and logistics
- Conduct exit interviews with leavers
- Manage visa processing for new joiners and employees (new, renewal, transfer and cancellation)
- Support process design and approaches that support change and transformation within the business.
- Partner with Payroll, Talent Acquisition and Compensation and Benefit functions as needed to provide solutions for stakeholders.
- Partner with Talent Learning and Development as needed to provide solutions for stakeholders.
- Communicates and provides interpretation and guidance to HR policies and explains HR processes and procedures
- Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with other HR functions to develop solutions, initiatives and programs.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or other relevant fields
- CIPD certification preferred
- 6-8 total years of relevant HR experience;
- minimum 2 years of operating in business partner model
- Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, employment laws, policies and procedures, recruitment, compensation and benefits, and career development
- Knowledge of current thinking and trends in HR
