The ideal candidate will provide an overall support to the Country Accounts Manager for the day to day management of the Finance department, to promote stewardship, accountability, reliability and accuracy of financial and administrative reports, to develop, define and implement financial and administrative policies, and effectively and efficiently implement them to ensure effective resource acquisition, allocation, utilization and safe guarding of ISG assets.
Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and effective support to the Medical Supply Chain Team
- Prepare and manage the office cash flow and ensure strict compliance where necessary
- Review Balance Sheet notes for the different legal entity and produce exposure report
- Ensure that a complete fixed assets listing which reconcile with financial reports are maintained
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and recognize all outstanding issues before the month end report is finalized
- Monthly review and reconcile all inter company (Interco) transactions. Revalue all Interco balances based on current management rate and recognize the associated unrealized exchange differentials
- Make sure that every financial transaction has proper audit trail and satisfies internal and statutory audit requirements before it is processed for payment and filing
- Support statutory and Group Audit
- Support month-end and Year-end closing process
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
Qualifications
- 5-7 years’ experience with a multinational organization in Accounting/Finance or Audit
- Must have a university degree in Accounting; a Master’s degree is an advantage, and/or
- Professional Accounting; ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA, or its equivalent
