The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant by profession and would be willing to travel to KSA every now and then to provide critical analytical support to the business through financial analysis of performance. Compile and collate data and create meaningful output to measure performance against plan for all KBI’s as well as identify the reasons for variances. Work closely with the operations and marketing functions to forecast future performance by drawing out a pattern of performance against actions taken. Perform menu analysis and provide insights to management
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the operations for day to day finance support to Nando’s Brand
- Work directly with the Head of Finance and the Head of Operations for Nando’s with various planning exercises, such as forecast, budgets, profitability analysis, and reporting
- Assist in the month end closing process by analyzing trends and variances related to revenue, and compare and correct data to reconcile financial transactions
- Interact and coordinate with the territory finance team to produce accurate and timely financial reports
- Monitor working capital and cashflow needs
- Closely work with the cost control team to understand the reasons for Cost of Goods Sold variances, menu analysis and work with the procurement team to reduce procurement costs
- Devise innovative and efficient ways of working, analyses and reporting
- Develop and maintain confidential, protected databases to monitor business performance, and provide management with insights into any risks or opportunities
- Coordinate requirements for efficient automated accounting to increase productivity and ensure verified information backups
- Uphold standards through consolidation of quarterly reporting packages and thorough internal reporting and analysis of financial data
- Work with other team members for MIS consolidation and analysis of other brands as needed
- Strive to advance personal skill sets through continued engagement in networking, workshop, and advanced education opportunities
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Alternatively MBA finance only if premier B school in India and having relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification work experience
- Proven experience working as a financial analyst
- Excellent excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
- Proficient with financial software application packages
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis processes and statistical packages
- Outstanding communication, reporting, and presentation skills
