About the role
An opportunity has arisen for Sales Manager at InsideĀ Burj Al Arab.The main purpose of thisĀ position is to maximize revenue development from the Market via a structured B2B and B2C sales approach as per the Sales & Marketing plan.Ā To build an aligned Brand presence in the market by building and maintaining positive relationships with key buying influencers, setting and monitoring strategic goals, championing Jumeirahās Brand and Image and linking corporate policy and strategy with Sales and Marketing teams.
Your Key responsibilities will include:
- Effectively manage existing accounts for the Tour. This involves potential needs analysis, determining strategies and revenue targets, relationship building, brick walling activities, monitoring performance and rate negotiation
- Co-ordinate and attend specific industry events and trade shows, representing the Jumeirah and keep a high profile in the marketplace
- Process reservations and special requests from clients (Together with Sales team)
- Initiate and escort targeted client familiarization trips and organize regular entertainment functions with new and exciting clients
- Develop new business wherever possible from the leisure market segment and sources of business
- Provide feedback and explain variances on all sales-related activities, including competitors and recommend what action should be taken to remedy significant variances
- Attend a monthly review meeting with an update of all actions been taken, Monthly report (together with Director of Sales)
- To maximize yield from major customers in the most efficient and cost effective manner
- Increase ticket selling count, average rate, yield and profits through establishing and maintaining good relationships with a number of clients, working to meet sales targets as assigned
- Actively approach targeted business clients (telephone, email, social networks, events, etc.)
- Search for new client leads.
- Conduct market research (analyse competitors, efficiency of sales strategies, etc.)
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
For you to be considered for the role you need to possess the below:

- Business related degree
- At least 4 years in a sales role
- Prior experience in B2B sales desired.
- Fluency in English.
- Good command of other European languages or Arabic would be an advantage.
- Interest in the financial markets.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of enthusiasm and motivation.
- Commercially (targets and results) focused
- Organized and disciplined, dedicated and loyal
- Friendly, pleasant and easy to be around, draw energy from being with others
