Responsibilities:
- Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations;
- Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls;
- Identify business and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved;
- Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability;
- Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement;
- Develop, implement and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practice;
- Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent- Master’s degree will be considered an advantage;
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in the UAE;
- Preferably Chartered Accountant;
- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
