Our company is an Abu Dhabi Private Family Investment company, with a well-diversified portfolio of businesses covering; Public and Private Investments, Technology, Real Estate, Real Estate Development, Hospitality, Healthcare and Agriculture.

The purpose of the role is to assist the management in making decisions regarding the best uses of financial resources, identifying crucial decisions, objectives and goals as they related to the financial management of the organization.

Core Tasks, Responsibilities and Authority:

ā€¢ Keeping update on the valuation of capital market (domestic and international) including funds and derivatives for management reporting and investment evaluation.

ā€¢ Preparation of transfer of shares from market to respective brokers if requested and complying on the requirements needed to complete the transaction.

ā€¢ Record the investment activities, analyze possible variances.

ā€¢ Update the cash inflows pertaining to the dividends received, throughout the year, from Local and International Quoted Market and Unquoted Private Equities.

ā€¢ Take in charge for all the necessary confirmations needed in preparation and finalization of investment audit.

ā€¢ Review and approve client requisitions in accordance with the contract, trade subcontractor and sub-consultant cost.

ā€¢ Review and check payments to trades and subs on timely manner and ensure that everyone complies with the requisition due dates established by the schedule or contract documents.

ā€¢ Facilitate the billing process and perform cost assessment for a particular project or portfolio.

ā€¢ Posting and analyzing related project activities to the system.

Additional task if needed:

ā€¢ Review lease revenue for the year for residential and commercial units on our completed project.

ā€¢ Verification of amount declared on the VAT filing report.

Core Competencies:

  • A Bachelorā€™s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • Professional qualification such as CPA or similar will be considered a plus
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Experience with ERP and Financial Systems
  • Microsoft Office specifically Excel proficiency

Experience:

  • Experience in the financial sector in the holding group level.
  • Exposure to handling Banking products (Loans, etc.), Corporate Finance, Investments.
