Involve in planning, sourcing and recommending suitable materials, products, goods and services in accordance with desired purchase conditions, from local and overseas suppliers and vendors for the Supermarket.
» Review cost effectiveness and performance of suppliers and vendors by the price comparisons and negotiate and renew yearly trade agreement.
» Update and coordinate with finance department all issues related to rental-branding-opening fees, and to share purchase plan for big events (Ramadan-BTS-season greeting … ) .
» Ensure timely submissions of purchase order requisitions & delivery schedules with suppliers and items are delivered within the time frame.
» Resolve any irregularities and non-compliance issues with suppliers and vendors concerning purchase orders, payments or any conditions of purchase.
» Analyze market trends, customer selection style, location of the outlets and the competitors pricing strategy and consequently organize in-store promotional activities with the support of the suppliers and listing of new products and removal of slow movers.
» Make sure all the FMCG are sufficiently stored at the central warehouse and the central distribution system functions flawlessly and timely action on problem stocks in liaison with the outlet supervisors and the central warehouse in-charge.
» Must have 7 years UAE Supermarket purchasing experience within 5 years experience in UAE
