This role will report into the Finance Head and will be responsible for financial reporting, financial controls, cost management, approval notes and budgets with respect to applicable laws and regulations existing in UAE. The position would also be the owner of the standard operating practices and compliances across business and territories and drive improvements thereon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quarterly and Annual Budget Forecasting and preparation along with cash flow analysis
- Owning the Standard Operating Practices – test check compliance while driving improvements of practices
- Cost control in terms of new sites, Lease agreements, insurance and third party agreements
- Identifying and sharing the best finance practices across business and territories
- Monthly and quarterly MIS review with variance analysis
- Review and analysis of pricing and promotions
- Analysis of commission structure with commission MIS preparation and payouts
- Internal Club Audit
- Support the Head of Finance in driving actions arising out of audit committee meetings, improving compliance as well as supporting with periodic changes as and when required
- Support the Corporate Head of Finance for driving compliance to actions arising out of Audit Committee meetings
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
Education: Chartered Accountant (ICAI) or MBA Finance with relevant industry experience
Experience: 8-10 years of exposure to Financial management of accounting and financials.
Functional Skills: Excellent knowledge of accounting guidelines,), exposure in ERP environment (Oracle or SAP), excellent skills in MS Office tools, particularly Excel, Word and Power-point
Behavioral Skills: Teamwork, attention to detail, meeting deadlines, customer service orientation, assertiveness, comfortable to work in cross functional teams.
