Job description

  • Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
  • Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
  • Research and analyze expense variances for company management
  • Role Summary
  • Manage collections on unpaid invoices and negotiate payment terms to recover outstanding debt.
  • Proactively following up with clients for payments via telephone and email to maximize cash collection and resolve client queries.
  • Provide customer invoices and statement of accounts to facilitate prompt payments.
  • Allocate payments and receipts to nominal ledgers.
  • Open new client accounts in line with company procedures and identify credit risk to minimize bad debt
  • ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

  • Mandatory Skills & Experience
  • 4+ yearsā€™ experience in credit, collections and dispute resolution with a minimum of 2 yearsā€™ similar experience in the UAE.
  • Strong experience in AR from collecting payments, reconciliations and finance reporting.
  • Education
  • Bachelorā€™s degree in Accounting or Finance or Commerce
  • Candidate Profile
  • Currently living in the United Arab Emirates ā€“ must be able to work in Dubai.
  • Fluency in English ā€“ must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Well-presented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience to deal with senior level clients.
