The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing statements, bank reconciliations, and assisting in cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
Responsibilities
- Create ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Assist in preparing statutory accounts and VAT reconciliations.
- Compile and feed financial data in Excel.
- Bookkeeping (Enters, updates, and/or retrieves) accounting data from systems. Posting entries to appropriate accounts in an accounting system, according to instructions and working with spreadsheets,Ā sales and purchase ledgersĀ and journals.
- Sorting out incoming and outgoing posts related to banks, AR, AP and answering any queries.
- Manage petty cash transactions and cheque deposits in the bank.
- Control credit and debt collection.
- Report to Manager and A/R timely follow up to maintain good cash flow.
- Reconcile all finance accounts and direct debits monthly.
- Process payments and documents such as invoices, journal vouchers, employee reimbursements, and statements.
- Files and/or align records and reports. Office equipment maintenance from suppliers. Perform related work as assigned by the Manager.
- Assist in financial consolidation.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Part qualified-ACCA or accounting certification (Preferred but not necessary)
- Understanding of CRM and Accounting ERP
- IFRS understanding
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Previous experience in Technology service ( SaaS) industry- Preferred
