ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage all accounting operations including A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
· Oversee the daily cash reconciliations and accounting controls.
· Manage the receivable function-Daily reconciliation of sales invoices.
· Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
· Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
· Support month-end and year-end close process.
· Liaising with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
· Manage and comply with local and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings including VAT Filing.
· Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
· CA Inter/MBA Finance/master’s in commerce.
· Working experience of Tally, ZOHO and other ERP Packages.
· Prior experience in Healthcare Industry preferable.
· 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
· Proven working experience in senior accounting Roles.
· MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT law procedures.
· Able to work independently and highly meticulous supervisory abilities.
· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
· Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
· Outstanding phone and email etiquette.
