1.Initiates and/or processes employment requisitions; develops and/or edits departmental job descriptions, vacancy announcements, and position advertisements in consultation with Human Resources Manager.
2.Develops and maintains confidential departmental staff and associated files, documents, and/or databases.
3.Conducts second level screening and/or advises department personnel on screening procedures for staff or job searches.
4.Coordinates staff recruitment process, as appropriate, ensuring search documentation is accurate, consistent, and complete, as per requirement liaising with the various approved agencies & coordinating visa processing with the Government Relations Department.
5.Coordinates departmental employee relations functions in consultation with the Human Resources Manager; monitors staff performance appraisal completions, tracks annual and sick leave accruals and usage and leaves of absence and overseas employee separation documents; may mediate or otherwise resolve workplace grievances or disputes.
6.Preliminary screening of candidates, checks references, and/or extend offers of employment upon approval by Human Resources Manager.
7.To prepare & complete the Monthly Human Resources Report and other statistical reports as required by the Human Resources Manager.
8.To coordinate and/or conduct departmental training; and conduct new hire Human Resources orientation.
9.Coordinates the staff employment process for the department and the hotel as appropriate.
10.Oversees the preparation travel L.P.O’s, purchase requisitions, small purchase orders, and check requests; expense reports and invoices.
11.To coordinate the administration of apartment rentals, serve as a liaison between employees, and outside contractors, and resolve problems, as appropriate to the position.
12.To carry out any other duties or assignments or reasonable requirements, given by the Human Resources Manager as required.
