Job description
We are a leading company in Gold & Jewelry located in Dubai looking for a female general accountant to start work immediately with us, Just female candidates are accepted. Visa will be provided within one week after being approved of qualifications and required skills.
Role Summary
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Update accounts payable and performs reconciliations
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Assist chief accountant in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Assist with other accounting projects
Competencies:-
• Min. 1 years working experience in an accountant role
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, CMA, and/or ACCA certified will be preferred.
• IFRS knowledge is a must
• Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups, pivot tables, and formulas
• Knowledge of accounting software.
• Track record of managing a high volume of data
• Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Team-player
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Gold And Jewellery Experience is preferred
Remuneration package:-
• Contract length: 24 months
• Expected Start Date: Join immediately
