Job Purpose:
ā¢ Perform assigned external audit engagements including risk assessment procedures, further audit procedures, substantive testing, and test of control. Applies objectivity concepts of the resolution-based approach, whether the financial statements are presented in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework and is free from material misstatements.
Roles and Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop an audit plan and audit procedures to acquire sufficient appropriate evidence.
ā¢ Collaborate in engagement plan objectives and audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses audit objectives.
ā¢ Deliver quality auditing services to clients and their stakeholders.
ā¢ Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
ā¢ Direct fieldwork, manage engagement progress and inform supervisors of the audit engagement status.
ā¢ Develop and maintain productive working relationships with audit client personnel, assess audit clients’ satisfaction, and proactively maintain contact with the audit client throughout the year.

To qualify for the role you must have
ā¢ A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
ā¢ At least two years of experience in public accounting and auditing.
ā¢ Extensive knowledge of the international financial reporting standards
ā¢ Must be a CPA, CMA, ACCA, CIA, or Qualified CA
