To support the teams who are powering this ecosystem we have a global Corporate division consisting of departments including Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Strategy, Human Resources, Central Services and PR and Communications.

Our Middle East Corporate division is now seeking an exceptionally talented Finance Manager to join the Regional Controlling team.

This role will report to the Head of Regional Controlling and working closely with the Group’s Administration, Planning, and Control Director.

The Finance Manager Middle East will be fully responsible for our YNAP branch in Dubai for administrative and financial controlling activities.

Location: our office in Dubai. This role may involve some infrequent travel to our Italian offices.

Dubai office size: 34 resources (approx.)

Dubai Finance Department size: 4 HC

Reporting into: Head of Regional Controlling

Direct reports: 3 (approx.)

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

• Main Financial planning and control;
• Quarterly and annual financial statement;
• Reporting on business performance to the shared with the Board of Directors, attending local Board meetings;
• Preparation and management of annual budgets (sales, costs, etc) and multi-year financial plans;
• Management of Middle East accounting records;
• Tax compliance (mainly sales and income tax);
• Support Legal and Corporate Functions on demand
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement closing processes

The Type Of Person We Are Looking For

• The ideal candidate has either covered the same position for a subsidiary of an international group or has a financial controlling background in an international company.
• The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that is set to rapidly grow from start-up to a well-established leading player in online luxury in the region.
• Flexibility and entrepreneurship are key characteristics.
• Financial controlling and planning
• ERP & Microsoft Navision experience
• Accounting (IFRS principles) and tax competences
• Knowledge of the Italian language is a strong plus
