We are looking for an HR Director to join the HR team. Below is an overview of the role.

Objectives

    • Managing the smooth and profitable operation of ITP Media Group’s HR department.
    • Plan, develop and evaluate HR-related initiatives that support ITP Media Group’s strategic and cultural goals.
    • To maintain strict confidentiality, discretion, and tact.

Tasks And Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with senior management to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to HR disciplines.
    • Oversee the daily administration of HR functions and direct supervision of the HR team.
    • Sourcing and recruitment of top talent via sound hiring initiatives, effective onboarding, workforce optimization, and management of turnover.
    • Involved in management-level organization development that addresses issues such as succession planning, superior workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, and change management.
    • Compiling, analyzing and reporting of HR metrics to establish trends and opportunities and to assist with making informed business decisions.
    • Implementation and continued development of performance management and appraisal initiatives.
    • Development of an employee-orientated company culture focusing on quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
    • Implementation of HR-related policies, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Ensuring compliance with local laws and industry regulations.
    • Establishment and management of training and development programs for all staff, using both internal and external resources.
    • Research, implementation, and continued development of cost-effective benefits plans and internal initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale.
    • Discipline and grievance handling and local legal knowledge of same.
    • Planning and overseeing the HR budget.
    • Lead competitive market research to establish pay practices and pay bands that help to recruit and retain superior staff.
    • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources.
    • Maintain open communication channels for advanced employee relations to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote high levels of employee morale and motivation.
    • Involvement and implementation of CSR program.
    • Presenting company-wide HR data and guidelines.
    • Participates in executive, management, and company staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.

Requirements

    • Media experience is preferred. Sound business knowledge is essential.
    • Bi-lingual – English and Arabic is preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
    • Must be exposed to international best practices and should have at least 5-10 years of experience in operational HR as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner.
    • Must possess the ability to use discretion and tact in all dealings and build highly effective and influential relationships at all levels, including engendering trust and providing a challenge at the board level.
